Media Buying Systems opereert op het grensvlak van ICT en de reclamewereld. Wij leveren applicaties waarmee mediabureaus in staat zijn reclamecampagnes op televisie, radio en internet te plannen. De ontwikkeling van onze applicaties is een continu interactief proces met onze gebruikers. Mede hierdoor hebben wij een indrukwekkende klantenkring opgebouwd. Om een indruk te geven: Bijna alle reclamecampagnes op televisie en radio worden gepland met behulp van onze software.
Werken bij Media Buying Systems betekent vooral zelfstandigheid en afwisseling. Je werkt in een klein, ambitieus team in een dynamische markt aan technisch hoogwaardige systemen. Op korte termijn zijn wij op zoek naar een:
Senior Softwareontwikkelaar Media
32-40 uur per week
Als Softwareontwikkelaar Media formuleer je in overleg met de klant en met je collega's functionele specificaties voor nieuwe en bestaande applicaties. Vervolgens zet je deze specificaties om in functionaliteit, die je samen met onze applicatiebeheerder implementeert bij de gebruiker.
Functie eisen:
• Je hebt HBO werk- en denkniveau
• 3 - 6 jaar ervaring op het gebied van het ontwikkelen van software.
• Microsoft Vb.net/C# 2010 kent geen geheimen voor jou.
• Je hebt ervaring met ontwikkeling van three-tier applicaties, het model-view-controller ontwerppatroon en SQL server.
• Verder ben je communicatief vaardig, sociaal en creatief.
• Kennis van developer express componenten is een pre

In spite of the usual labour conditions Media Buying Systems offers a number of benefits which makes it pleasant and fun to work with us.
Location
Our office is in the city centre of Amsterdam in a 16th century storehouse nearby the Haarlemmerstraat. As from some quick shoppings to an extensive dinner after worktime, everything is in reach on a short distance. We always lunch combined daily: the lunch itself comes from shops in the neighbourhood. To relax you can make use of our Wii. Every month we organise an afterwork drink. Some blurred jokes or a pleasant conversation, it is all possible. Every year we are going for a company trip for a day or a weekend. Not part of this is Paragliding in Germany, Skydiving in Roosendaal or an ordinairy traffic control slip course in Zandvoort because we already did that.
Our company consists of 2 departments. Client Services and Development. Within Client Services all employees knows the business well. They have worked with our software themselves. Client Services is responsible for support in the first line. At the develop department the wishes from our clients added with our own insights, are converted into extensions in our modules.
Developmethod
Because nothing is so dynamic as developing software we work according to the Scrum/Agile develop method (also called extreme development). Therefore we devevelop in a short cycle of one or two months.
Education
We believe that you can only be stimulated in your work when it stays a challenge. Therefore there are extended training and education opportunities which we stimulate with emphasis. We make use of the excellent offers of the American company Developmentor. These courses will be held in London from time to time.
Working hours
Our working hours are flexible. Besides opportunities for working parttime, we also offer the possibility to adjust your daily working hours to your personal life.
